Corrupted Items. Items made from BfA content have a chance to Corrupt, and certain things (generally from raid bosses in the newest raid) always are Corrupted. The items that are Corrupted have a set Corruption, though other items that Corrupt gain a Corruption effect that is random. Corruption effects vary from providing you
wow gold to inducing AoE explosions around you a stacking buff, to spawning a tentacle that stations Mind Flay on your enemies. However, each Corrupted thing includes a Corruption stat. The more Corruption you have, the worse the side-effects get. Starting off, it's simply taking damage has a opportunity to slow you - the more Corruption you've got, the further you get slowed.
Then it updates randomly developing a zone with a Eye that lasts for a few seconds; while you're it the zone, the Eye shoots at you you remain. Last, you gain a debuff that cannot be removed (except by lowering your Corruption level) that increase damage you take and reduces recovery you receive by a percentage amount that warms up with more Corruption (and it is likely to find both to over 100%).
The Rank 6 ability that you are given by the Legendary Cloak ties within these penalties. It is a 3 minute cooldown that removes the slow and harm taken/healing received penalties, it causes the Eye and Thing to immediately disappear, and prevents any one of these from returning 6 minutes. Finally, raising the rank of your Legendary Cloak also raises your Corruption Resistance. Without affecting the favorable effect of your Corrupted products, this decreases the quantity of the Corruption stat you have. There are lots of Azerite Essences that give a bit of Corruption Resistance you will be given Resistance by only one of those Essences if you equip multiple. Allow me to know if you have any questions!
Maintain the necklace. In 8.2 they introduced the Essence platform which allows you to power your necklace using some passive and active abilities, and if you are a new participant to
buy gold classic wow (as in, you do not already have them on another personality ) getting a few of them is quite very grindy and/or timelocked. So, unless you're wanting to do really large end material, in which case you're kinda screwed at this point of the patch, then you can get by with some serviceable essences rather than the ones to your own role.
